Badges
There are 9 badges in the museum, 4 from Royal Typewriter, two Underwood Elliott Fisher, one Smith-Corona, one Remington Rand and one American Multigraph. Two badges have a leather backing with a clip to attach to a person’s clothing. I believe other badges have pins on their backs for the same purpose. They became very prominent during World War II as they were a security precaution in defense plants. The photo badges are considered more desirable than the others.
